Think Outside the Box Project
This project, we used a magazine square disappear in any drawing we wanted to do. I did an underwater dragon type of creature because the square was a shark tail, and it looked like a mouth of some sort of creature. I used a lot of blending and gradient techniques to make it disappear. You can slightly see it but I think I did a pretty decent job hiding it.
Perspective drawing (1 point perspective dream home)
I didn't make this project easy on myself, I decided to draw a fish house and I was going to do 2 point perspective but I settled on one point. I decided to add value instead of coloring it because I feel adding value makes it pop and look more realistic. Overall I thought this project wasn't going to be fun but it turned out being fun for me.
Painting project
When I was waiting for my Alebrije to dry, we started a painting project and this is my finished product! I used so many techniques including the dry brush technique. This was a really fun project!!!!
Alebrijes
This overall was my favorite project! We had to choose 3 or more animals to put into this, so I chose a bird, cat, and a fish. Sadly I had to paint the wings on instead of putting them on as clay, they fell off.
Self portrait
My first picture is for my reference photo, first I started working on the eyes and slowly started adding more and more, then I added value. For my last photo, I cleaned up some of the finger prints then made the value on the face look a bit softer and more accurate.
Close up value drawing - Red Panda
This was a very challenging drawing since I chose an animal with a lot of details. I didn't know what to do for the whiskers since they were white, so I went ahead and erased lines and outlined them to make them look like whiskers, there was a lot of erasing in this drawing but in the end, I hope you like it.

description: for this I feel like the most difficult part was the sewing and keeping everything even. Then I got the hang of it after doing a bit more. I used a pipe cleaner for the nose piece to keep it on my face.
